A VPS runs 24/7 without interruption ensuring the EA never misses a session. Running on a personal computer risks missing trades if the machine is off or asleep.
AutoTrading must be enabled for the EA to place and manage orders.
Velocity EA contacts a secure server to validate your license on load and every 30 minutes. You must whitelist the license server URL in MT5.
On first load the EA contacts the license server. If successful the dashboard shows:

Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors and add https://license.velocitydev.cc to the allowed URL list.
